Yesterday, a group of 7 of us, which comprised of Leslie, Estee, Liwei, Michael, Siying, Hwee Li and I, queued for approximately 4.5 hours to buy donuts from Donut Factory at Raffles City. Wah.. it was damn "shiong" lor... Imagine standing there for 4.5 hrs in a never-ending queue. Michael and Leslie went there at 12+, while the rest went there only at 1+. Luckily, with Michael there, queuing wasn't that boring, coz he was simply so comical there la.. haha. We finished our business only at 5pm! And we bought a total of 80 donuts! I bought only 6, coz I did not have enough money at that moment.. =X Hahaa..
After all the queuing, we went to Marina South for steamboat. Again, Michael was the comical one there. I realized that we didn't eat that much as previously.. Perhaps we juz dun have the appetite bah. Finished eating around 9.30pm and actually we intended to go to the Esplanade there to "chill out".. but in the end we didn't go coz it was quite late already. Haiz.. headed home with Liwei and reached home at around 11pm. When I told my parents about the donuts, their 1st reaction was "Wah.. You siao arh! Queue for 4.5 hours just to buy donuts!" Lol. And the donuts were gone after half-hour later.. Lol..

Today, didn't go to school as there was no lesson. So, ended up rotting at home as no one wanted to go out. =( To add to the problem, there was a shutdown in the electricity supply for the whole day.... So, no TV to watch, no computer to use... So bored lor!! The electricity supply came back only at around 5pm..
Haiz... I simply can't get enough of Week 0, and I miss it alot, especially Black Pearl! I guess many people are still high about orientation in school, although it's already gonna be Week 2.. This orientation had really impacted me alot, as I had gained alot during those few weeks. It was really enriching. I miss all the times we shared, from OLTC to preparations to Week 0 itself. Seeing the pictures of what we had went through for the past months really made me felt kinda sad, as I couldn't believe for myself that how fast time had really past. It was simply too fast.. I just wanna get involved in the next year's orientation again, coz it's simply FUN!
Gotta go already, coz tomorrow there is an 8am lecture, which is Molecular Genetics... haiz...

Ok, school has started for 2 days already, but I'm still in holiday-cum-orientation mood. I guess the other OLs and ASc people are feeling the same way too. Lol... I remembered that we were still cheering yesterday when we were in school. Haha..
Back to lectures and stuffs, and I still couldn't adjust back to the studying mood. I had 3 straight hours of Animal Anatomy and Physiology this morning and many people were practically dying in there. I can't imagine what it would be like when we would have 5 straight hours of this subject when another 2 hours of tutorial comes in. Haiz... it will be damn "shiong" lor...
I was supposed to meet up with my freshies today, but I couldn't make it coz when they were having their break, I was still having my lessons. And when my lessons ended, they started another lesson liao.. So, I can only meet up with them tomorrow.. Ya...
Haiz... tomorrow's lecture starts at 8am, and we have CSAS after that... haiz...

Week 0 was over. It happened just too fast. 4 days of orientation just passed like that. I miss the times when we were together during OLTC, busy preparing for the orientation stuffs and of course, Week 0 itself. I was so glad that AS came in 1st for both the Telematch and Cheering Competition. Woot~! Felt so proud of all the fellow freshmen and Musical Stormers who had put in alot of effort to obtain these titles. Although AS wasn't the overall winner, we were already winners. I really didn't regret joining the orientation programme as an OL, but I know I would really regret if I didn't join.
This was a very meaningful experience for me as I was an OL for the 1st time. Although I was an OGL in MJC for the 2nd orientation last year, I didn't join in with the rest for the orientation as I was not posted there, thus I was unable to experience what was it like to be an OGL.
Hmm... School is starting soon, in fact, it's just tomorrow. It's a sad thing, coz our class AF13 would be seperated to different classes. Haiz... We can only see each other during lectures, and we all have different breaks too. So it's kinda hard to meet up also...

Week 0 is coming to an end soon. To be exact, it will be tomorrow. It seems so fast, about 4 days of orientation seems to pass so quickly. The class I'm taking charge is A7B7. On the 1st day, everyone seemed kinda quiet and didnt talk much too. I guess everyone felt it that way during our own orientation. On the 2nd day, which was yesterday, even though not everyone turned up, we all still had fun together. The cheerings, the games, the campfire and not forgetting Gold Rush. During Gold Rush, I was glad that almost everyone was enjoying themselves, although some people got freaked out by the worms presented to them.
After Gold Rush, it was time for every class to get together to play games. Although the class seemed quiet, everyone got involved with the games we played and they seemed to enjoy themselves, which was a good thing. Even though a few of them were feeling very tired after the night activities, they tried to be awake to join in the games. Eventually, everyone in Black Pearl went back to the LT to catch a short nap before breakfast. After breakfast, everyone went back home to grab their sleep. For me, when I went home, I only managed to grab 4 hours of sleep. Lol...
Although the orientation is coming to an end, I really hoped that everyone in A7B7 enjoyed themselves during these few days. I would like to apologise to everyone in A7B7 for being quiet at times.
Hmm... gotta go already. Need to catch more sleep as tomorrow's another long day ahead.

So tired... Now everyone is slogging their guts out for Week 0, which is next week. We are all very very busy now, with all the LT deco stuff, identities, more briefings and more debriefings etc etc. I had been going back to school every single day, and coming home late for these 2 days or so...
Today, we had simulations for Week 0, and I admit, it was kinda tiring. Running around TP to allow everybody to be familiarized with the schedule was the main thing. I guess everyone was feeling shagged too. Week 0 is only 4-5 days away, and it gets closer and closer by the day.
So, we, the Black Pearl, will survive this together for 1 more week. Kampateh Black Pearl! =D

Today, I met up with fellow Black Pearl members, about 9 of us, to look for and buy logistics needed for the LT deco. We planned to go to PS and Beach Road, but in the end went to PS only. Lol. We bought only one item, haha, and then went to Bugis. The guys went for pool while the gals went shopping...
We were supposed to have a steamboat dinner at Marina Bay/Bugis, but due to the lack of response and attendance, 5 of us went to PS there to settle dinner, which cost $10+ per "plate" per person... Kinda expensive leh, and not filling somemore... Sat there and crapped and stoned for quite some time before entering Zone-X... Then headed for home....
Haiz... feeling so hungry now, as I feel as though as I do not have anymore strength to carry on typing... Haha...

I just had those irritating braces on this afternoon, and it was no easy feat. Spent more than an hour at the clinic and I made use of the time to take a short nap while the dentist was putting the braces in my mouth. Haha!
After putting on, it was so uncomfortable, with speech extra hindered (so people please tolerate it if you can't hear me well), unable to eat anything else except porridge and aching on the gums at times. Sianz man... Have to live on porridge for the next week or so... Sad. Tried to bite on a bun moments ago, and well, the gums will ache upon biting and chewing. So, forget it. I shall starve until the next morning bah.. haha!
I guess I gotta go soon, coz tomorrow need to go back to school to continue the banner-making thing...

I had just came back from OLTC a couple of hours ago, and to be frank, this camp was better and fun-er than LTC.. haha! My ship is Black Pearl, and it rocks! Haha... Realized Rubayn, Anil, Eric, Yu Xuan, Evonne and Liwei were also in the same ship as me..lol. And our ship had the smallest crew, and when many people left for their respective briefings and stuffs, the number shrinked to a small number of us.
On the first night, we had the night walk around the school, with some lights switched off in certain places. However, this wasn't as scary as the OCGH night walk during LTC. After everything was over, went to sleep at about 2.30am, but cant get to sleep as the TCC foyer was a cold storage, with the air-con blowing directly at my face all night, and the lights weren't switched off too, so in the end toss about for a long time before getting about an hour of nap.
Next morning, we had captain's ball first thing in the morning followed by breakfast. We had an unique style of having breakfast by feeding the person beside you. Haha... Probably due to the lack of sleep, hunger and exhaustion during captain's ball, I had a migraine shortly after breakfast and it stayed there for the next few hours, thats why I was kinda sian sian during the activities after breakfast. We had the TP mass dance during late afternoon and the amazing race at night. And the amazing race was kinda..... no link at times, the clues I mean, and we had to run from one end to the other... We finished up around 1am then after everything was over, I slept at around 4am and luckily, managed to squeeze out 4 hours of sleep.
On the last day, we were required to do plannings for the design of the LTs and flag. While we were doing on the forfeits for the blanket drop thingy, we cracked many lame jokes along the way.. haha and we procrastinated a little. After debrief, our most of our Black Pearl gang went for dinner at KFC... I guess we made alot of noise over there as we were talking about all the sick things and crapping over there. Haha.... laughed till stomach ached..
Haiz... time flies, and the camp was over.. Next big thing up will be Week 0, which is about 2 weeks later. The camp was fun BUT, the food was disappointing! I guess the best meal was dinner on day 1.. Can you imagine eating something that was not filling at all, having the same type of veggie for 3 consecutive meals, chicken that was as hard as stone and tasted like something else? Oh man, most of us had decided, we will opt for vegetarian diet for the upcoming Week 0... Haha!
Haiz... tomorrow is the day, where it's time to put on the sickening braces on... sianz man...
